Welcome to Richmond County Rescue Mission
at Place of Grace Campus
It is the vision of our organization to create a happy, healthy, and safe community living in prosperity with each other and hopeful for the future.
Richmond County Rescue Mission Graduates
These graduates represent the very heart of the Richmond County Rescue Mission’s work. Each one has taken courageous steps toward healing, stability, and purpose. They are living proof of our mission to help men and women transition back into the community with hope for the future.
Through Christ‑centered support, accessible health and socio‑economic resources, and the guidance of dedicated professionals and peer mentors, these individuals have overcome barriers related to housing insecurity, behavioral health, and substance use disorders. Their perseverance reflects the freedom that comes from discovering purpose and rebuilding life on a firm foundation.
We give thanks to the Lord for every testimony represented here. Their achievements remind us why our mission matters-restoring lives, strengthening our community, and empowering people to make a positive difference in their lives, the community, and the world.
Congratulations to the graduates!
David Eaddy
After 40 years of being bound to addiction, David Eady, with help from the love that our church family pours into him and our men's program, is now, living proof of the transformational power of God! David taught his first Sunday school class this past Sunday, May 11. David is also active as a volunteer in the Food Pantry Ministry, and Transportation Ministry, and is becoming a great leader. We Love You David!!
Richmond Community College
Congratulations to our very own Andrew for being selected into Richmond Community College's honor society. Just a few months ago, Andrew came to Place of Grace looking for answers. Seeking purpose. Through our church family and men's program he has found what he was looking for in Christ.
As a first-generation Laotian, addictions and other life circumstances had robbed him of his peace. Now, he is active in the church with our Community Action Team and is also pursuing a social work degree so he can help others in their journey to recovery.
We love you, Andrew!

About us
It is the vision of our organization to create a happy, healthy, and safe community living in prosperity with each other and hopeful for the future. We attain this vision through our mission of helping men and women transition back into the community; finding the freedom to discover their purpose and make a positive difference in the world. We have cast a wide net; helping our neighbors who are re-entering society from periods of incarceration, struggling with housing insecurity, and those fighting behavioral health or substance use disorders. By creating accessible health, socio-economic and community supports, our campus is strategically positioned to help these individuals achieve physical and mental well-being, safe and stable housing, meaningful purpose through education and employment, and the supportive social relationships and respect they need to survive and thrive. We have connected to Primary Case Managers and Teams, including Peer Support Specialists, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors, Social Workers, Psychiatrists and Doctors who are all dedicated to effecting these goals and reversing the plague of homelessness and drug addiction that is afflicting our community.
